The name Oak & Ember reflects the foundation of our mission:

Oak & Ember was founded out of a deep understanding of the challenges families face. Too often, we’ve seen loved ones move into facilities simply because there wasn’t enough support at home. Families stretched thin with work, children, and other commitments felt they had no other choice. We knew there had to be another way — one that kept families together and allowed seniors to remain in the place they love most: home.

That’s why Oak & Ember was born. Our services go beyond just completing tasks. Yes, we help with meals, errands, and light housekeeping, but what truly matters is the connection we bring. Companionship, laughter, conversation, and reassurance are at the heart of what we do. We know that little things — sharing coffee, playing a game, helping with technology, or walking a pet — can make a big difference in someone’s day.
